Wallace, McDowall Limited are one of the leading sub-contract manufacturers in Scotland. In the past two years we have undertaken significant changes to our working practices and culture which resulted in us being awarded the Scottish Engineering Transformation Business of the Year for 2024. In addition to this we have continued to invest to support our manufacturing facility including a new ERP system, state of the art 12kW laser, cobot welding and new press brake technology in the past 12 months.

To support our growth ambitions, we are currently looking to recruit two graduates into our Customer Service Team. The primary function of the new roles is to generate lead opportunities for our business either from existing customers, existing market sectors and also from new customers and new market sectors as well as supporting the company’s marketing requirements and technical support for our customers.
Ideally we are looking for graduate(s) with either a Marketing, Business Management or Engineering degree who are looking to join an innovative and forward thinking Company. The roles will be seen as development roles to give the successful applicants good experience of our business, our culture and customers allow them to develop their skillset and hopefully lead onto a role in Technical Sales and/or within our Technical Engineering Department.
We will offer a competitive hourly rate, overtime premiums, a company pension scheme, target based bonus system, 31 days annual holiday, free tea and coffee and numerous other benefits to the successful applicants. Hours of work will be 0800 to 1700 Monday to Thursday and 0800-1300 on a Friday.
This role will be based at our 126,000 ft2 modern manufacturing facility in Monkton, Ayrshire and necessary training will be given to support the role.
