Wallace McDowall attended the Robotics Industry Fair at Strathclyde University yesterday (25th January). In attendance were various manufacturers and distributors from the collaborative robotics Industry as well as Scottish Engineering, Engineering Institutes and representatives from the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Students Association. Wallace McDowall was asked to attend to highlight the needs and benefits of implementing collaborative robots within manufacturing and how automation has become more accessible to small-medium manufacturers. Our Managing Director John Gemmell was on the Q&A panel alongside CEO of Scottish Engineering, Representation from The National Robotarium and The Institute of Mechanical Engineers Young Members Panel. This was followed by a networking session with the exhibitors and attendees were able to see the cobots & robots in action. Wallace McDowall would like to thank our Hosts MESA and Strathclyde University for inviting us along.
