Trainee Office Clerk

Wallace McDowall are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking office clerk to join our experienced production team.

The role includes scanning and filing documentation to help maintain traceability of jobs going through the factory. The successful applicant will also be required to generate reports for the production team leaders using the Company’s Operations Manufacturing software system and Microsoft Excel. You will also be required to deliver off completed jobs for customers by generating delivery notes. This will also require information to be entered into some customer’s online system to inform them of incoming deliveries. All training will be provided. You will report directly to the production manager.

The successful candidate may also be required to liaise with customers via email and phone regarding their deliveries.

Required Skills:

  • English and Maths at National 5 level.
  • Good IT skills for using Microsoft Office Suite. Training will be provided for all in-house IT systems.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good time keeping.

 

Additional Info: The hours are 39/week, Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:45 and Friday, 08:00 – 14:30 with a half hour lunch break each day.
