2014 UPDATE
Sunday, August 31, 2014
During the first half of 2014 we have installed a new laser, press brake and finishing machine enabling us to maintain our objectives in keeping up with technological advances and improvements with metal fabrication equipment. We have increased our employees to around 180 including 15 apprentices and also work experience persons from schools and colleges who are interested in finding out more about engineering. We have increased our quality and technical departments to ensure our customers receive the product and service they expect.
The new Trumpf TruLaser 3030 Fibre with automatic loading and unloading keeps us up to date with the latest in technology. The machine is able to process thinner materials much more efficiently and productively while still being able to cut up to 20mm mild steel.
Our Trumpf TruBend 5230S 4mt. 230tonne brake press increases our capacity for bending even more. Again the machine uses the latest technology to ensure consistent precision parts as well as lowering maintenance downtime providing energy efficient hydraulic systems. The automatic bending supports aids operators in processing larger and heavier parts with ease.
Laser cut parts often require finishing depending on customer requirements. To enable us to be more productive in processing the hundreds of parts we produce every day we have installed a Costa MB2 series brushing and deburring machine. The machine is controlled by PLC and can easily and quickly be set to suit the wide variety of input material.
