Our machining department have recently had a new Hurco VMX30 vertical mill installed to increase their capacity. Our Bridgeport vertical mill is being replaced in a few weeks after giving many years of good service manufacturing smaller batches and manual work.
Although some of our customers are being effected by work moving to Asia we are fortunate to have a wide customer base and have been picking up additional work in other products especially lighter materials. Our sales team are currently seeking to fill capacity in heavier guage materials and we also expect to increase our powder coating facility in the first half of next year with the purchase of a new plant that will allow us to cope with the demand.
